See and Save's Standard Instore Lay-by
System
Initial Deposit needs to be 15% of
the total amount.
Installment payments need to be made
on a regular fortnightly basis.
If the lay-by is for prescription
spectacles, lenses will be cut and fitted into your
chosen frame when 50% deposit has been reached.
Lay-by duration cannot be extended
over 3 months from the date of the original deposit
(Unless otherwise arranged).
Cancellation of the Lay-by
If the lay-by is cancelled, 10% of
the total amount will be retained.
Where prescription lenses have been
cut and fitted into your frame all monies paid, will
be retained.
You can collect you spectacles when
the full balance has been paid.
There are not fees or changes with this system.

To be eligible you must be able to answer “YES” to
the 5 questions below :

Are you over 18 and live in Australia ?

Do you work full time (30 hours per week) or are
you an aged pensioner ?

Do you have valid photo ID

Do you have a bank account ?

Is it true that you do not currently have a
TakehomeLayby account with other stores ?
How Takehomelayby works;

Pay 25% of the cost as a deposit, this can be
paid with Cash or your Credit Card, Health Fund
contributions are not counted as the deposit,
but they will lower the amount you need to
finance.

There is no interest to pay, just a once off
$19.00 processing fee

Our staff will complete a half page form with
your details

You will need to decide whether you’d prefer 8
fortnightly or 4 monthly payments, which will be
debited directly from your bank account. If the
amount financed is over $500 you can have 6
monthly payments or 12 fortnightly. Also, select
the first repayment date that needs to be
between 14-30 days from the day you sign the
agreement.

Conditions
There is no minimum financed amount, but the maximum
is $1000.
